2011 – IARC classifies RF in (Group 2B)

31/05/2011 – The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) http://www.iarc.fr/ which is an arm of the World Health Organization issued a press release regarding radiofrequency electromagnetic fields.

31/05/2011 - The International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B) based on an increased risk for glioma, a malignant type of cancer, associated with wireless phone use.

Had the findings of the Interphone Study results been released (instead of being stalled for about 5 years) I believe the IARC (Group2B) classification would have been determined much sooner. In my opinion, the many years of research (Industry, and Independent) plus animal, epidemiological, cell culture studies, and what is known for at least 50 years of biological effects, the (Group2B) classification should really be (Group 2A).
